Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason has admitted that he and his teammates were "angry" to concede West Ham United's winning goal from a set piece on Tuesday night.
Michail Antonio scored the one and only goal of the game with a header from a corner in the seventh minute at Upton Park.
Spurs could have moved to the top of the Premier League table with a win, but they remain second in the standings, three points behind leaders Leicester City.
"We were very angry to concede from a set piece and from there we were always chasing the game," Mason told Spurs TV. "We need to recover well and put in a good performance on Saturday so we can forget this."
Tottenham will take on Arsenal at White Hart Lane this weekend.
