Former Spurs defender Paul Miller says that Tottenham "are a long way off" winning the Premier League title.

Former Tottenham defender Paul Miller has dismissed talk of his former side winning the Premier League title this season.

Spurs travel to Manchester City on Sunday knowing that a win would move them to within two points of first place in the league, but Miller is not expecting a title challenge from Harry Redknapp's side this season.

"I heard three of our comments from players last week about winning the league and we are a long way off in my opinion," Miller told talkSPORT.

"Some of the players have said Tottenham can win the title but I think we should be a bit quieter and see how it goes the next seven or eight games."

Miller made 208 appearances for Tottenham.
