David Moyes has praised new loan signing Steven Pienaar for his performance in Everton's 1-1 draw against Wigan Athletic.
Pienaar made a return to Goodison Park in the January transfer window, joining on loan from Spurs.
Moyes lavished praise upon the South African for the way he played in his second debut for the club at the DW Stadium.
"Steven Pienaar was arguably our best player, he was terrific," the Scottish manager told Sky Sports News.
"He was here for two or three years, so he's only been away a year.
"He knows how we work, nothing much has changed here in the past year or so."
Pienaar played the full 90 minutes, despite his lack of first-team action so far this season.
