Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp believes that Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers has a bright future ahead of him after impressing in the Swans' first season in the Premier League.
The former Chelsea coach has received praise from his fellow managers for installing an attractive style of football within the Welsh club.
While reports have suggested that Rodgers may be lined up to replace Redknapp at White Hart Lane, the favourite to snatch the England managerial role has nothing but kind words for his counterpart.
"He's someone who has a fantastic future," said Redknapp. "I don't know what his long-term plans are but certainly the job he has done at Swansea has just been amazing.
"I remember speaking to Frank Lampard a few years ago when he was at Chelsea and he was telling me how good he was then.
"I just think it has been fantastic that a team can come up and play the way they have played, pass the ball as they do."
The two sides go head to head in the Premier League on Sunday.
