Former Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood has reportedly been interviewed for the vacant manager's position at West Bromwich Albion.
The 45-year-old, who parted company with Spurs last month, is on a shortlist of six for the role.
West Brom are looking for a new boss following the departure of Pepe Mel at the end of last season.
Sherwood lost his job at Spurs despite leading the club to a sixth-place finish in the Premier League and Europa League qualification for next season.
West Brom have been impressed with Sherwood's record, along with his work with young players in his former role as technical co-ordinator at White Hart Lane, according to BBC Sport.
It is believed that the West Midlands outfit will announce Mel's successor towards the end of the week.
