Tottenham Hotspur could soon send developing players to Eredivisie side Roda JC in a collaboration deal similar to that between Chelsea and Vitesse Arnhem.
Talks between the two clubs over a deal were unsuccessful two years ago, but Roda technical director Ton Caanen is confident that a partnership is now close.
"The cooperation with Roda is now taking off," he told Voetbal International. "First, in technical terms, but in the future there are interesting opportunities in areas such as youth development.
"Everything [is] of course in consultation with our scouts and technical people. Tottenham often lends players to clubs from the lower English divisions, but they also want to have a structured line to the continent."
Caanen revealed that he will regularly travel to England to identify potential targets at Spurs, suggesting that youth players could be making their way from White Hart Lane to the Parkstad Limburg Stadion as soon as January 2016.
