Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend has claimed that he will try to make an impression on England manager Roy Hodgson if he plays in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine.
Townsend was called up to the Three Lions setup for the first time for an impressive start to the season following a loan stint at Queens Park Rangers.
"My intention is to keep playing the way I'm playing, without fear and try and get some game time," Townsend told Tottenham's official website.
"As you've seen, the manager has faith in the youngsters, so hopefully I'll do well if I get a chance."
Townsend is expected to be named on the bench for tonight's match against Moldova at Wembley.
