The 34-year-old missed the start of the season with a calf injury but has now resumed light training with the North London side.
The Frenchman is unlikely to feature for Tottenham in Sunday’s match against Liverpool, but could make his return for their away fixture at Wigan the following week.
Gallas signed for Spurs from rivals Arsenal in 2010 after making 101 appearances for the Gunners.
