Report: Tim Sherwood to stay as Tottenham Hotspur manager

Tim Sherwood will reportedly keep his job as Tottenham Hotspur manager for next season even if his side fail to win a Champions League place.

Tottenham Hotspur will not sack Tim Sherwood even if they fail to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season, according to a report.

The Daily Mail claims that the 45-year-old's future at White Hart Lane does not depend on where his side finish in the league table, but how much he grows as a manager between now and the end of the season.

The Tottenham board members have been impressed by Sherwood's man-management skills and by how he has revived striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

A review will be carried out in the summer, and if there is no serious slump in results between now and the end of the campaign, then the former England international midfielder will keep his job at the North London club.

Tottenham, who are currently fifth in the league standings, will take on Norwich City away from home on Sunday.
