The Argentine moved to White Hart Lane from Roma in the summer of 2013 for a club-record fee and has scored two goals and set up three more in all competitions so far this season.

According to CalcioMercatoWeb, Milan CEO Marco Fassone and sporting director Massimo Mirabelli were in London this week to open talks over a potential transfer.

Lamela's Spurs contract runs until the summer of 2020.
