Tottenham Hotspur teenager Milos Veljkovic has reportedly spoken to Championship club Middlesbrough about a loan move to the Riverside.
The 19-year-old Serbian, who made two substitute appearances for Spurs in the Premier League last season, is expected to join Boro until January.
"I'm leaving on a three-month loan," Veljkovic told Serbian publication Telegraf.
"Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka called me to talk about the possibility. He was previously an assistant to Jose Mourinho [at Real Madrid].
"I am happy to get the chance. In January, a loan could be extended to the end of the season."
Swiss-born Veljkovic can play in either central defence or as a defensive midfielder.
