Cardiff City are reportedly keen to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Huddlestone.
The 26-year-old is believed to be available for transfer, having fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane following the recent arrival of Brazilian international Paulinho.
He was recently linked with Sunderland, but that move is reported to have stalled.
Cardiff boss Malky Mackay is now keen to take advantage of that uncertainty by lodging a bid, according to talkSPORT.
It is thought that Spurs would want around £5m for a player they signed from Derby County in 2005.
