Defender Cameron Carter-Vickers says that he will consider leaving Tottenham Hotspur if he does not feature in Mauricio Pochettino's plans next season.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Cameron Carter-Vickers has not ruled out another spell in the Championship next season.

Carter-Vickers was loaned out to Sheffield United at the start of the season, before the American made the switch to Ipswich Town during the January transfer window.

In total, Carter-Vickers has made 30 appearances at the second tier and the centre-back admits that he could return to that level during the 2018-19 campaign.

The 20-year-old is quoted by The Green Un as saying: "I want to play football so if the opportunity comes and the manager at Tottenham says he doesn't need me and the opportunity to play football again in the Championship comes up, then I will be up for it."

Carter-Vickers has only made four outings for Spurs in all competitions, which came in the FA Cup and EFL Cup last season.
