Reports in Russia have claimed that Lokomotiv Moscow are hoping to secure the services of Tottenham Hotspur defender Vedran Corluka this summer.
The centre-back fell out of favour at White Hart Lane last season and he ended up completing a loan switch to Bayer Leverkusen for a large majority of the campaign.
Barcelona and Juventus have both been linked with a move for the 26-year-old in recent weeks.
However, it now appears that Lokomotiv have stolen a march on the rivals, thanks largely to the fact that their new manager is Corluka's national coach Slaven Bilic.
Some speculation has already suggested that Corluka has agreed a three-year deal with the Reds.
