Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen would allegedly prefer to sign for Real Madrid in the summer.
Despite entering the final year of his contract, Eriksen was unable to secure a transfer away from the Champions League runners-up before the start of this campaign.
Spurs are likely to be keen to agree a sale in January in order to avoid losing one of their key men on a free transfer, while speculation persists that Real may make an approach at the start of 2020.
However, according to ESPN, Eriksen is more in favour of leaving the Premier League outfit at the end of the season.
The report claims that the Denmark international would like to take advantage of being able to request a bigger signing-on fee, with any interested clubs not being required to pay Spurs for his services.
Eriksen has remained a regular in Mauricio Pochettino's squad, making a total of 11 appearances in all competitions.
