Marouane Fellaini has insisted that he will not be linking up with Jose Mourinho at Tottenham Hotspur.
The Belgium international was a favourite of Mourinho when the pair were together at Manchester United, and there had been suggestions that the new Spurs boss wanted to bring the midfielder to the London club.
However, Fellaini, who turns out for Shandong Luneng Taishan in the Chinese Super League, has revealed that he is not looking to leave his current club.
"Jose is special for me," Fellaini told Eleven Sports. "We text each other, we call each other from time to time. He's taken over at Spurs and he's doing well. I wish him all the best, but I am good where I am now."
The 32-year-old scored 22 times in 177 appearances for United before completing a move to China in January having fallen out of favour following Mourinho's departure.
The Belgian has contributed 12 goals and five assists in 34 outings for Shandong in all competitions.
