Brad Friedel preparing Tottenham Hotspur exit?

Goalkeeper Brad Friedel has hinted that he will leave Tottenham Hotspur during next month's transfer window.

The 41-year-old has fallen out of a favour at White Hart Lane in recent weeks, with coach Andre Villas-Boas opting to use French international Hugo Lloris between the posts.

That has led to speculation linking Friedel with a move away and the American has now revealed that an announcement regarding his future will be made soon.

"I know there has been quite a but of speculation regarding my future. All will be revealed in next couple of days:). Happy Holidays," he wrote on Twitter.

Friedel's former club Blackburn Rovers are said to be keen on securing his return.
