Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane reportedly rules out a move to Paris Saint-Germain as Bayern Munich continue to fight for his signature.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has no interest in moving to Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to a report.

The England captain has so far not shown a willingness to extend his current Spurs contract, which expires at the end of the 2023-24 season.

Kane is not believed to be trying to force a move away from North London after his unsuccessful efforts to do so in 2021, but Spurs are running the risk of losing him on a free transfer in under 12 months' time.

Nevertheless, chairman Daniel Levy remains of the view that Kane will not be sold this summer, and he has not given up hope of tying the club's all-time leading goalscorer down to fresh terms, which could supposedly see him pocket as much as £400,000 per week.

Bayern Munich are pushing hard to bring Kane to the Allianz Arena and have already seen two bids rejected, but the Bundesliga champions' honorary president Uli Hoeness has expressed confidence that a deal will eventually be done.

A move to Manchester United is no longer seen as a realistic option given Levy's reluctance to sell to a Premier League rival, but PSG has also been mooted as a destination where Kane could finally fulfil his silverware ambitions.

It had been suggested that PSG were prepared to do whatever it takes to bring the striker to the Parc des Princes, and money would not be an issue for the Ligue 1 champions.

However, The Telegraph claims that Kane is not considering a move to the French capital at this moment in time and would turn down any approach from Les Parisiens this summer.

As a result, Bayern are seemingly in a direct battle with Tottenham for Kane's services, and the England skipper's desire to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League goalscoring record could give Spurs the edge.

Kane currently sits on 213 top-flight strikes, 47 behind Shearer's long-standing record of 260, which he could realistically surpass with another two strong goalscoring campaigns.

Nevertheless, Kane is still believed to be open to a switch to Bayern, who may still have to fork out at least £100m despite the fact that a bidding war is now unlikely to materialise.

Amid the ongoing speculation surrounding his future, Kane has travelled with Tottenham for their Asia-Pacific tour, and he is believed to have been left impressed with Ange Postecoglou's early impact.

The new Spurs head coach recently revealed that he had a "good chat" with Kane about his vision for the future of the club, but it is still unclear whether he can be convinced to sign a new contract.

With Kane ruling out a switch to Ligue 1, PSG will apparently turn their attention to Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic, although the Serbian is also believed to be on Tottenham's list of possible Kane successors.

Tottenham's first game under Postecoglou sees the Lilywhites meet London rivals West Ham United in Perth on Tuesday, and Kane is expected to lead the line in that friendly.
