Junior Hoilett's father and agent David Hoilett Sr has dismissed suggestions that the Blackburn Rovers forward will leave Ewood Park this month.
The 21-year-old has been widely tipped to abandon the struggling Premier League side with Bolton Wanderers, Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers being reported as possible destinations.
"Considering his contract, there have not been any talks recently and to be honest I don't really see any at the moment. I don't think there will any more talks at the moment," Hoilett Sr told The IBTimes UK.
"Concerning a move to other clubs, it is a bit up in the air at the minute. I can see with the club knowing that they will get some sort of compensation; it may not be within their best interests to offload him considering what is going on with [Chris] Samba at the moment.
"I can't really see them letting both of them go at the same time and with Junior's contract ending at the end of the year, the value they could get for Junior would be less than what they would get for Samba."
Blackburn boss Steve Kean faces a tough challenge to keep his captain following Samba's transfer request yesterday.
