Daniel Levy 'in fit of rage' over Real Madrid's interest in Christian Eriksen

A report claims that Daniel Levy is unhappy with Real Madrid's interest in Christian Eriksen, as they have also targeted Mauricio Pochettino and Harry Kane in the past.

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy was reportedly left fuming after learning of Real Madrid's interest in midfielder Christian Eriksen.

The Denmark international has been strongly linked with a switch to the Bernabeu, despite Tottenham supposedly placing a £225m valuation on his head.

Spanish outlet AS suggests that Levy "went into a fit of rage" when being told that Madrid intended to make a move for one his side's star men, as the La Liga giants also hold an interest in striker Harry Kane and manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Madrid also took Luka Modric, the man Eriksen is being targeted to replace, from Tottenham in 2012.

The report indicates that Levy will not flinch on his high asking price in the hope that Los Blancos counterpart Florentino Perez looks elsewhere for a marquee signing.

Eriksen has six goals and nine assists for Spurs in the Premier League and Champions League combined this season.
