Manchester City will reportedly relaunch transfer talks with Tottenham Hotspur over Harry Kane once the two clubs have locked horns in the Premier League this weekend.
The English champions will head to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, and there is a chance that Kane could be involved if he returns to training on Friday.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Man City are preparing to launch a fresh £127m offer for the England captain in the hope of convincing Spurs to sell.
According to The Sun, Citizens boss Pep Guardiola wants the deal secured next week, and talks between the two clubs will accelerate after their meeting in North London.
The report claims that Man City are not prepared to pay £160m for the 28-year-old but are willing to offer various add-ons and players in exchange to move closer to Tottenham's valuation.
Kane scored four times in seven appearances to help England reach the final of this summer's European Championship.
The forward also enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign at club level, scoring 33 goals and contributing 17 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions.
