Former England international Rodney Marsh believes that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane should command a transfer fee of £100m.
It has been a breakthrough season for the 21-year-old, who has scored 29 goals in all competitions for Spurs.
Reflecting on last summer's transfer deals, Marsh has insisted that if the North Londoners were to sell their England forward, he would fetch a world-record fee.
"I reckon he is worth £100m, I honestly do. If I was a chairman of a football club, that is what I would pay for Harry Kane," he told talkSPORT.
"Manchester City paid £32m for a relatively untried young player called Eliaquim Mangala. If Mangala is worth £32m, Harry Kane is worth £100m all day long.
"Angel di Maria cost Manchester United £62m. I think Harry Kane is a much better player than Di Maria, in the Premier League."
Yesterday, England head coach Roy Hodgson confirmed that Kane would start tonight's friendly in Italy.
