Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has hinted that he will approach Tottenham Hotspur to try to sign Emmanuel Adebayor on loan.
Adebayor has recently been ordered to train with the club's reserve side, and if the 29-year-old became available, Redknapp has admitted that the Togo international would be a "great loan".
The former Spurs boss told reporters: "He'd be a great loan, that's for sure. I don't know what will happen with him. He's a good player but it's up to Tottenham, they have lots of good players.
"He can't go on loan in the Premier League, he can only go into the Championship but whether he'd want to do that - it would be difficult I think."
The former Arsenal and Real Madrid forward has yet to feature for the White Hart Lane outfit this season.
