Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in advanced talks with Swansea City over an £18m deal for centre-back Joe Rodon.
The 22-year-old has been a regular for Swansea over the past couple of seasons and has also caught the eye during his four caps for Wales.
Manchester United and West Ham United have previously been linked with the young defender, but Sky Sports News claims that Tottenham are now close to agreeing a deal.
Spurs are believed to be willing to match Swansea's valuation, although there is no rush to finalise a deal as the window for domestic transfers remains open until October 18.
Rodon has started all four of City's Championship matches this term, helping the Welsh side up to fourth place in the embryonic table.
Jose Mourinho's men have signed six players already this summer, including the capture of Rodon's international teammate Gareth Bale on an initial loan deal.
