Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Empoli midfielder Assane Diousse.
The 17-year-old recently signed a new long-term contract with his Italian side, which runs until 2020.
However, a host of clubs are said to be monitoring the teenager, who has started all three of Empoli's Serie A games thus far this season.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Spurs are closely watching developments with Diousse and could be prepared to make their move in the January transfer window.
Diousse, who was born in Senegal, primarily operates as a defensive midfielder.
