Louis Saha could reportedly make a surprise loan switch to Tottenham from Everton before the close of the transfer window.

Everton striker Louis Saha could reportedly make a surprise switch to Tottenham Hotspur on a loan deal.

The 33-year-old Frenchman has not been touted as a departing player from Goodison Park this month as the Toffees' apparent priority has been to add to the squad as opposed to selling.

Reports have claimed that a temporary switch to White Hart Lane is only likely to come to fruition if out-of-favour Spurs striker Roman Pavlyuchenko moves before the close of the window today, according to Sky Sports News.

Saha has been at Everton since 2008.
