Tottenham Hotspur and Valencia have agreed on a deal that will see Roberto Soldado move to north London, according to the Spanish club's president.
However, the 28-year-old's move to White Hart Lane has not yet been announced because of an issue with the player's agent, Amadeo Salvo told El Mundo.
"The deal with Tottenham has been completed," said Salvo. "A problem with Soldado's agents has come up and the player will not leave the club until a solution has been found."
The transfer fee is believed to match Soldado's release clause of €30m (£26.3m) and if it goes through, then would surpass the club-record £17m fee Spurs paid for Brazilian midfielder Paulinho earlier this summer.
