Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City agree deal for Emmanuel Adebayor

Spurs agree deal for Adebayor

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly agreed a deal with Manchester City for striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Togolese frontman has been open about his desire to switch to White Hart Lane on a permanent basis following a prolific loan term at the North London club last season.

It is understood that Spurs have reached an agreement with the Premier League champions over a fee, which now allows Adebayor to discuss personal terms with Tottenham, according to Sky Sports News.

Recent reports have claimed that the North West club were willing to accept bids in the region of £7m for the 28-year-old.
