Tottenham Hotspur target Toby Alderweireld?

Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas could reportedly move for Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld in the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old is regarded as one of the best young defenders in Belgium and it is understood that a host of clubs are monitoring proceedings.

However, according to reports in Belgium, the central defender is keen on a move to England and is ready to reject offers from Italy.

Alderweireld would reportedly command a fee in the region of £7m.
