Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly requested that Inter Milan improve their offer for Christian Eriksen.
Earlier this week, it was suggested that Inter were closing in on the Denmark international, with a view to officially unveiling him on Sunday afternoon.
However, the Evening Standard claims that the Italian giants are yet to meet Spurs' valuation, said to be set at £17m.
The report says that Inter have, so far, only made a bid of £15m, plus a number of add-ons, but it appears that has been rejected by Spurs.
While a deal is still expected to be finalised over the next week, the Serie A title challengers may have to change the structure of their current proposal.
With the 27-year-old having less than six months left on his contract, Spurs are happy to part ways with the playmaker.
