Tottenham Hotspur 'want Soualiho Meite as Mousa Dembele replacement'

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly decide that they would like to sign Torino midfielder Soualiho Meite as a replacement for Mousa Dembele.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Torino midfielder Soualiho Meite as a potential summer signing.

Mauricio Pochettino has not made a first-team signing during the last two transfer windows, but the Argentine is expected to be active ahead of next season.

Spurs allowed Mousa Dembele to leave for China in January, and according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the North London outfit want to sign Meite as his replacement.

Meite has made a positive impact at the Serie A club since his arrival in the summer, with the Frenchman contributing two goals and two assists from 25 league appearances.

The form of the 25-year-old has led to Torino challenging for a place in next season's Europa League, and the Italian side are said to value the player at €30m (£25.63m).
