Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Defoe could attract interest from Stoke City, according to reports.
The Potters are keen to add to their attacking ranks, but they have previously placed their priority on seeking a forward from abroad.
However, according to the Stoke Sentinel, Stoke boss Mark Hughes could make a move for the 30-year-old if he proves unsuccessful elsewhere.
It is unclear whether Defoe would be prepared to leave White Hart Lane, but he could be tempted by more first-team opportunities at the Britannia Stadium.
