Swansea City could reportedly make a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor should they lose frontman Bafetimbi Gomis.
City coach Garry Monk is adamant that the club will keep hold of the Frenchman, but the Daily Star reports that the Swans have earmarked the £5m-rated Adebayor as a potential replacement.
The 31-year-old is one of the highest earners at Spurs and the same report suggests that the North London side could take a smaller fee in order to get him off their wage bill.
Swansea are also thought to be closing in on a deal for young goalkeeper Josh Vickers ahead of the new season.
