Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly agreed to sell Belgian central defender Toby Alderweireld to Qatari outfit Al-Duhail for £13m.
The 32-year-old was again a regular for Spurs during the 2020-21 campaign, making 35 appearances in all competitions, but he has been linked with a move away over the last few weeks.
According to The Telegraph, Nuno Espirito Santo's side have agreed a £13m deal with Al-Duhail for the defender, who will head to the Middle East to undergo a medical.
The report claims that Alderweireld is yet to agree personal terms with his proposed new club, but there are not expected to be any issues when it comes to the Belgium international's wage demands.
Alderweireld has made 236 appearances for Tottenham since joining the London club from Atletico Madrid in 2015 following a successful loan spell in the Premier League with Southampton.
The centre-back's current deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is due to expire in June 2023.
