Sports Mole rounds up some of the latest transfer rumours, including Calvin Bassey to Fulham, Mike Tresor to Brentford and Davinson Sanchez to Spartak Moscow.

Ajax defender Calvin Bassey is still reportedly viewed as a priority target for Fulham.

With Fulham keen to strengthen their backline ahead of the new season, they have held talks over deals for Bassey and Southampton's Mohammed Salisu.

However, rather than signing both Bassey and Salisu, the Cottagers are only expected to recruit one left-sided centre-back.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Fulham are favouring a move for Bassey over the Southampton defender, who is wanted by Ligue 1 side Monaco.

Having reached an agreement with Ajax over a deal for the 23-year-old, Fulham are hoping to schedule a medical to take place this week.

Bassey, who completed a move from Rangers last summer, made 39 competitive appearances for Ajax during the 2022-23 campaign, chipping in with one goal and five assists.

Elsewhere in West London, Brentford have reportedly held discussions with Belgian side Genk about playmaker Mike Tresor.

After finishing in ninth place last season, the Bees are hoping to assemble a squad that can build upon that success next term.

According to the Daily Mail, Brentford are admirers of Tresor and have made contact with Genk over a potential transfer.

Tresor put in a number of impressive performances during the 2022-23 season, registering eight goals and 24 assists in 42 games across all competitions.

The 24-year-old, who spent most of last term playing on the left wing, has previously been linked with a move to newly-promoted Burnley.

The Belgium international still has two years left to run on the four-year deal that he signed upon his arrival from Willem II in the summer of 2021.

Spartak Moscow, meanwhile, have reportedly submitted a €12m (£10.4m) bid for Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sanchez.

The Colombia international experienced a turbulent 2022-23 campaign, which included a difficult outing against Bournemouth in April when he was jeered by his own fans for his role in two of the Cherries' goals.

With 12 months remaining on the player's contract, Tottenham will allow him to leave this summer after spending six years with the club.

A recent report claimed that Strasbourg were in discussions over a move, while there was also thought to be interest from Galatasaray.

However, Spartak appear to be in pole position to secure Sanchez's signature, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that they have tabled a €12m (£10.4m) offer.

Discussions between the two clubs are now at an advanced stage, and Spartak are confident of getting a deal over the line.

Over in Spain, Real Betis are reportedly set to sign young Barcelona defender Chadi Riad on a permanent transfer.

After announcing the return of Marc Bartra, Betis are on the verge of adding another centre-back to Manuel Pellegrini's squad.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Los Verdiblancos have agreed to sign Riad from Barcelona on a permanent deal for a €2.5m fee.

The Catalan giants will have the option to buy Riad back in the future, while the agreement also includes a 50% sell-on clause.

The 20-year-old has already arrived in Seville to finalise his move and it is only a matter of time before he is unveiled as a Betis player.

Riad made 37 appearances for Barcelona's B team, but his only senior appearance was a brief one against Osasuna in November 2022.
