Valencia have reportedly rejected a big-money offer from Tottenham Hotspur for striker Roberto Soldado.
Spanish newspaper Superdeporte claims that Spurs offered to foot Soldado's €30m (£23.5m) buyout-clause, but the 27-year-old turned down the move.
The forward found the net 27 times for Valencia in all competitions last season, helping his team to third place in La Liga.
He signed a new contract with the club back in June, keeping him there until the summer of 2017.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is keen to boost his strike force after failing to agree a permanent deal for Emmanuel Adebayor.
