DeAndre Yedlin has admitted that he is hoping to start his Tottenham Hotspur career in January.
Spurs signed the defender from the Seattle Sounders in the summer, before loaning him back to the club to allow him to finish the MLS season.
Reports have suggested that his stay in Seattle could be extended, but Yedlin is eager to arrive at White Hart Lane as soon as possible.
"Am I ready to go in January? I don't know when I'm going," the 21-year-old told reporters.
"Would I like to? Yes, I'd like to get there and help but I don't know all the ins and outs of that process so I'll just have to wait and see what happens.
"I think [Seattle] would be happy for me to go."
USA head coach Jurgen Klinsmann claimed earlier this week that Spurs had signed a "great talent" in Yedlin.
