Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen has revealed that he is not a fan of VAR, after the system played a part in Thursday's 1-1 draw with Australia at the 2018 World Cup.
Mile Jedinak's equaliser from a penalty came via a VAR intervention, alerting Spanish referee Antonio Mateu Lahoz to a handball from Yussuf Poulsen.
The 24-year-old Dane also gave away a penalty in the 1-0 win over Peru, once again after VAR involvement, although the spot kick was not converted on that occasion.
"After today I don't like the system," the Tottenham Hotspur star told reporters after the draw in Samara.
"Two matches in a row against us. We thought about it afterwards and there was a foul against Poulsen before. We should have had the free kick before that.
"If you want to use for pens, you should also use for free kicks. Two in a row? That is bitter!"
Denmark sit second in Group C on four points, two behind leaders France.
