Team News: Celtic make three changes for St Johnstone trip

Emilio Izaguirre, James Forrest and Tom Rogic all return to Celtic's starting lineup for the trip to take on St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.

Ronny Deila has made three changes to Celtic's starting lineup for this afternoon's Scottish Premiership clash against St Johnstone.

Emilio Izaguirre, James Forrest and Tom Rogic are all brought back into the side, while Kieran Tierney, Nir Bitton and Scott Allan make way from the battling draw with Fenerbahce on Thursday evening.

In terms of the hosts, they have made two changes as Steven Anderson returns from injury to join Brian Easton in the first-team fold at a frosty McDiarmid Park.

Tam Scobbie and Darnell Fisher are the men to make way, with the latter ineligible to feature against his parent club this afternoon.

Victory for Celtic will see them extend their lead at the top of the table to four points, with a game in hand still to play over nearest rivals Aberdeen.

St Johnstone XI: Mannus, Mackay, Anderson, Millar, Davidson, MacLean, Wotherspoon, Shaughnessy, Easton, Craig, O'Halloran
Subs: Clark, Scobbie, Sutton, McKay, Caddis, Kane, Thomson

Celtic XI: Gordon, Lustig, Boyata, Simunovic, Izaguirre, McGregor, Johansen, Forrest, Rogic, Armstrong, Ciftci
Subs: Bailly, Ambrose, Tierney, Allan, Mackay-Steven, Cole, Commons
