Aberdeen duo Calvin Zola and Alan Tate fail to overcome injury in time to face St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup semi-final at Ibrox.

Aberdeen go into today's Scottish Cup semi-final without injured duo Calvin Zola and Alan Tate.

The pair were both doubts coming into the clash at Ibrox and have failed to overcome injury in time to face St Johnstone for a place in the final.

Meanwhile, the Saints are still without Gary McDonald who injured his knee three weeks ago, while Chris Iwelumo is among the substitutes.

The winner of the tie will face Dundee United in the final, with the Terrors overcoming Rangers in yesterday's other semi-final.
