League leaders Glasgow Rangers had two players sent off as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat at St Mirren this afternoon.
Ally McCoist's visitors took the lead at St Mirren Park when Lee Wallace poked the ball beyond the reach of St Mirren goalkeeper Craig Samson with 11 minutes played.
However, the 24th-minute red card handed to Lee McCulloch for violent conduct changed the balance of the game.
The home side took advantage of their numerical advantage by scoring two goals before the break.
First Aaron Mooy levelled up the match with the aid of the upright, before Paul McGowan scored what would prove to be the winning goal in stoppage time.
Rangers had a lot of possession after the restart, but failed to call Samson into any testing action.
With four minutes remaining Rangers defender Dorin Goian was handed his marching orders for a foul on Kenny McLean.
Goian's dismissal saw St Mirren produce a couple of attacks as the hosts ended the encounter the stronger side.
