Peter Crouch starts up front for Stoke in their Europa League group match against Besiktas.

Peter Crouch will start up front for Stoke City in their Europa League group stage match against Besiktas at the Britannia Stadium.

The striker opened his account for his new club during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Manchester United.

The England international will be partnered by newcomer Cameron Jerome, with starts also given to Ryan Shotton and Robert Huth.

Summer signing Wilson Palacios also comes into the side, while Thomas Sorensen plays in goal ahead of Asmir Begovic.
