Bojan Krkic has revealed that he is ready to revive his Stoke City career after returning to the club following a loan spell at Mainz 05.
The 26-year-old spent the second half of last season at Mainz after struggling for action at the Britannia Stadium, and it had been suggested that the former Barcelona youngster would leave the Potters on a permanent deal this summer.
Stoke boss Mark Hughes was full of praise for Bojan when questioned on the forward last week, however, and the Spaniard has said that he missed the English club's supporters during his time in the Bundesliga.
"I really love the Stoke City fans," Bojan told Stoke's official website. "For me, it was hard to be in another team in February. I never expect that, but the football is like this. Every day, every week, the Stoke fans send me messages. I feel them really close.
"I saw videos from the last game (Stoke's win at Southampton), so that made me really proud and I really love Stoke City fans. [The love] is really important because I am not from here, I am from a different country, from a different city and don't know anyone.
"I only knew Marc Muniesa, but it was really fast to get to know everyone and the fans. It's a real family club, a family team, and this is important for me. It's nice when you are away and the people are thinking of you."
Bojan has scored 15 times in 60 appearances for Stoke following a 2014 move from Barcelona.
