Tony Pulis salutes Stoke City supporters

Pulis salutes Stoke supporters

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has thanked Potters fans for sticking with his side during this afternoon's goalless draw with West Bromwich Albion.

Both teams struggled to break the deadlock as a drab encounter at the Britannia Stadium ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

Pulis admitted that the "fabulous" home support was just about the highlight of an underwhelming afternoon.

He told BBC Sport: "It was a very honest, committed game with very few chances. Probably the best opportunity fell for Kenwyne Jones right at the end.

"The greatest thing about today was the crowd turned up and were great. There has been a bit of discontent around the place but they were fabulous from the first minute to the last minute."

A home point moves Stoke to 10th in the Premier league with 34 points from 30 games.
