Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has revealed that he is looking to sign more players before the end of the transfer window.
The Potters have brought in five new faces so far this summer, with Shay Given and Marco van Ginkel the latest to arrive at the Britannia Stadium.
However, Hughes is eager to bolster his squad further in the coming weeks.
"We are pleased that we have managed to get a fair bit of our business done early because we see benefits to that, but there are still two months remaining and we will keep looking for options that we feel will improve us," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"We have lost out on a couple and been frustrated with one or two other targets but we are in there right now actively looking, so hopefully one or two more drop for us. We certainly have a few irons in the fire."
Former Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson is understood to be on the verge of joining Stoke after undergoing a medical with the club.
