Galatasaray have reportedly emerged as favourites to sign Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye.
In January, Stoke paid Galatasaray a fee of £14m to sign the Senegal international, but the Potters' relegation to the Championship has activated a release clause in the 27-year-old's contract.
Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United have both been linked with a summer approach but according to Turkish outlet Futbol Arena, Ndiaye wants to return to his previous club.
Ndiaye had only been with Galatasaray for six months before making the switch to England, but it appears that the player wants another spell in Turkey, where he has also played for Osmanlispor.
During the second half of last season, Ndiaye scored two goals in 13 appearances in the Premier League.
