Stoke City chairman Peter Coates is not concerned that midfielder Steven N'Zonzi has handed in a transfer request.
N'Zonzi's decision comes just days after manager Tony Pulis left the Britannia Stadium, but Coates is confident of retaining the services of the 24-year-old.
Coates told The Telegraph: "I can confirm that we have received a written transfer request from Steven N'Zonzi.
"We are not unduly worried about the situation as he is our player and has three years remaining on his contract."
The Frenchman scored one goal in 38 appearances for the Potters this season.
