Stoke City are reportedly in advanced talks to sign Kostas Stafylidis from Augsburg.
The Potters, who recently replaced manager Mark Hughes with Paul Lambert on a two-and-a-half-year deal, are keen to strengthen the left-back department.
According to Sky Sports News, the two clubs have reached the latter stages in their discussions over a loan agreement for the rest of the season.
The report claims that the Greece international is keen to seal a transfer due to the lack of game time on offer at Augsburg this season.
Stafylidis is believed to have been chosen as cover for injured Erik Pieters.
