Oxford United have secured the services of Stoke City striker George Waring on an emergency one-month loan deal.
The 21-year-old has made the switch having not made a senior appearance for the Premier League Potters.
"George has been on a lot of people's radar for a while. He is a good player and has a physical presence up front but he also scores goals," manager Michael Appleton told the club's official website.
"We have one or two knocks at the moment and George provides us with a different sort of threat and a bit more competition for places over the next month or so."
Waring, who will wear the number seven shirt, scored six goals from 17 outings during a loan stint with Barnsley last term.
