Hertha Berlin go to Stuttgart and win

Hertha Berlin beat Stuttgart away from home 2-1 in the Bundesliga.

Hertha Berlin have continued their excellent season with a 2-1 win away to Stuttgart in the Bundesliga.

Struggling Stuttgart could not have got off to a worse start as with the first chance of the game Adrian Ramos flicked on a corner for Levan Kobiashvili to finish from close range.

Hertha continued their strong start to the game and were close to doubling their lead. Marcel Ndjeng fired over the bar from an angle having been found by Sami Allagui.

Stuttgart finally came into the game after the half-hour mark and Romanian Alexandru Maxim came close but his low shot was well held by Thomas Kraft.

However, right before the half-time break they were level. Arthur Boka struck a shot from some distance after a corner was partially cleared to make it 1-1.

In the second half Ramos had a shot saved before Timo Werner twice had efforts blocked when he was well placed as the game remained open.

Despite Stuttgart pressing it was Hertha who went home happy as Sandro Wagner headed in late on.
